Caffè Almondo

"I like this place! The vibes are good and it’s a nice traditional Dutch cafe. You might run into the (former?) prime minister, though whether that’s a positive or negative depends on your political persuasion. I’ve run into prime ministers in weirder places, so this is pleasant by comparison. I have to ask though. Why do you only give a loyalty stamp for hot drinks and not ice drinks? After going here for four years, I have to say that this is a really weird and pedantic point. Even the staff (who are friendly and helpful) acknowledge it as strange. Especially when the iced coffee costs much more (4.70 for a small??) than a regular coffee. Quite odd to nickel and dime on this point."

"We really enjoyed this place. Great service - they have adjusted to my weird allergies in a very friendly and non problematic way! We had oat cortado and green tea - both really nice. Aha nice Lisbon reference with Pastel Update: a bit of a disappointment at the end. Toilet was in a really bad state. :( dirty and without a soup. Maybe we were just unlucky (bad timing) but it impacted the impression after great coffee"

"One of my favorite coffee places in the city! They have great coffee, great atmosphere, the staff is very welcoming and their full selection of food doesn’t lack anything! And a big plus: they are always open!! Their upstairs room is perfect for a coffee with a friend or for a work session during the week! Bravi! Keep up with your great work!"

"Great coffee and food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We visited over the Christmas period, so it was very quiet and perfect for a great start of the day. What we loved was the sitting area upstairs with the steet view while drinking your coffee. Highly recommend it"
